Those that follows me on Instagram knows that boiler suits, overalls, jumpsuits or whatever you like to call them are a long time staples of mine.

A treasured memory is when I as a young teenager got my very first. It was hand made in a pale, purple cotton fabric by a tailor friend of my beloved Grandmother.

I still remember that special feeling when I wore it for the very first time at the assembly on the last school day before summer break. I matched the blossoming lilacs on the teachers desk.

Fast forward to 2019. These two budget buddies has you covered for any summer weather. The first one’s perfect for a varm, sunny day. The fabric is soft as a second skin. And the colour is a lovely shade of camel.

Just add sun and a Caipirinha (Brazil’s national cocktail).

The other one is a great transitional piece or a realistic take on Scandinavian summers. It comes in a sturdy, yet comfy dark blue denim. You can wear it with the belt for a more pulled together look or just let it loose for a more funky feeling.

Keep it casual with sandals or sneakers. Add heels and red lipstick for a more polished look.

And yes, both are still available online. Go, go, go!
